If you have been diagnosed with ADHD, you may have read about, tried, and implemented skills to assist you with navigating the responsibilities of daily life. You may have experienced some skills to be helpful. However, it is not uncommon for adults with ADHD to have limited success in developing and implementing skills, such as organization, time management, and self-motivation. After attempts to improve these skills with little or varying success, it is understandable that there may be skepticism about the development of executive functioning skills.
Dr. Hoff utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to explore and modify thinking processes and behavioral patterns to improve academics, work, relationships, and daily responsibilities
Additionally, Dr. Hoff uses a collaborative process aimed to identify, practice, and modify executive skills to manage daily responsibilities. Collaboration allows for the tailored approach to learning skills that meet your needs and take your symptom(s) and lifestyle into consideration.
